What's a Dana 60 Super?
#11
They said the rear end they would put in there would be the same used in the 1 ton trucks. They called it something that I've never heard, like 'Continental' or some ****. I'll ask them again tomorrow when I drop in.
This blows if this costs more than $600

I wonder why I even started this thread since it's just you and me in here flirting. I should of just called you and been done with it.
Oh yeah, but then I get to listen about how gay you want me to be the whole time and that makes for awkward moments of silence.... (just like now)

Weld that ****** up and call it a day.
on a serious note a google search comes up with nothing. every dana 60 super is listed for f250 f350 and f450 front axles. nothing for the rear end of gm van.
edit- randys ring and pinion lists dana 60, dana 70 super, and 9.5/10.5 14 bolts as the only options for an express 2500.

Ahhh...
So I don't have the Dana Super 60...I have the Dana Super 70, which is even more uncommon and rare. But not rare in a good way, rare in a way that there are no aftermarket companies that even bothered to make anything for it.
So what the local rear-end shop suggest installing a Corporate rear-end which is code for a 14-bolt. They have a bunch of them in stock but they wanna charge me $1500 for a 14 bolt Full-floater (10.5" I believe) with a Eaton Posi in it.
I have a buddy that is gonna sell me a Full floater late model 14-bolt with stock 4.10's and Gov-Loc for $400.
I'm gonna go with option 2!! Granted the Gov-Loc isn't the strongest but I'm not doing drag strip launches with my Van nor am I doing any Burn-outs so I think it'll be fine. Don't necessarily want the 4.10's but they are gonna match the front Diff I'm also getting from him which also has 4.10's. Guess I'm commited to going 4WD now!!
