Have a priest bless it? Not much else you can do besides have it built.

Yep, swap out the factory plastic accumulator pistons for aluminum ones, and get Corvette and billet servos...

so how much do you think all that would help on holding a pretty good size cam and stall? the hd2 shift kit, accumulator pistons, and servos?

Probably not enough. Went down that route before and it bought me some time, but the stocker still went boom. Got a good deal in the for sale section on a FLT lvl 5 if you're interested.

Throw on a Tru-Cool 40K cooler and a finned aluminum deep pan while your at it. That way, you will at least negate most heat issues that might otherwise be the death of it.

Sonnax sells pinless accumulator pistons that are top notch. Be sure to replace the solenoids at the same time you do the shift kit and pistons.

When you upgrade your TC, be sure to swap in a Beast sun shell for cheap insurance.

.....and a 5-gear planetary set, a Beast sunshell, and a wide band and better clutches (Alto red at least). You'll drop somewhere around grand into the changes. That's where I'm at and so far, so good but I'm not kidding myself. I've got a 6k lb. pig of an SUV with a Maggie and a 2600 stall and I'm dropping a Vinci Trucker cam and a 3" blower pulley into it over Christmas.

Or you could just bite the bullet, sell the stock tranny, and ago straight to an FLT Level V for your current setup and never look back.
