I duno what is cooler.. Hooking of a dead stop or doing 45mph rolling burn outs. I have giving up on trying to hook on the street. It just isn't going to happen, unless you are awd..

exactly the reason I sold my rst for an 03ss awd. I got tired of spinning. going the awd route to see what I can do.

i just learned how to feather the pedal.....I ran the 305 bfg with no luck at all....frustrating not being able to put all the "real" power down.

So what are you planning on doing?

Just tring to figure out a solution for my traction issues.......I want the truck to be fun again like it was when I made 450rwhp......maybe the solution is 4wd?

Maybe bigger wheel/tire combo? You are just a different case in a 2wd, any pic of the truck on how it sits now?

Caltrak's should help, along with a MT 295-315/65/15 ET street radial. I chose to go 4x4 and give up half sec at the track to pick up 2 seconds on the street. If you have a 2500Hd it isn't hard to make 4wd.

I've had Caltracs and they didn't really help much on the street as far as traction goes......I'm thinking getting the truck to squat might help some and maybe a bigger contact patch but to get that I'll have to go to a shorter tire.......

does anyone know how well those M/T's hook?

This actually helped out alot. I went from 4.10 to 3.42 and I am able to get on it a little more before it spins.
