I just put mine in 4wd first. It still breaks loose a little bit on 12lbs, and I still can't do 16lbs in 1st gear, but in 2wd my truck is pretty much useless at the track, let alone the street.

The HD is just stupid powerful right now.....I feel like I'm spinning everywhere.....I honestly think I had more fun at 450rwhp......truck was plenty fast and didn't break loose everywhere......I really do miss that MP112 setup......it may make more sense to de-tune to about 500rwhp.....I think alot of guys at that power level are having tons of fun.

Anyone have any experience with those wide radial MickeyThompson tires? I could see sending my 20's out to get widened if they really work.....thoughts?

No caltracs anymore.....running 4.10 gears.

AWD for me. Truck would be useless without it.

Try a better tire combo befor you detune her. maybe there is something you could do to the suspension, pinion angle, or weight transfer to help with traction.

I duno what is cooler.. Hooking of a dead stop or doing 45mph rolling burn outs. I have giving up on trying to hook on the street. It just isn't going to happen, unless you are awd..

Mid to upper 1.8s 60 foots is about all you will get on the street with the factory rear leafs i think, mine hooks good enuf with these tires i dont think it would be faster on the street as a 4wd. What sucks is every road is different so you have to relearn how to play the throddle every time.
