just wondering what spline the torque converter was on my 03 silverado 4.8l cause i have a 28 spline 2800 stall that was in a 700 r4, not sure if it would work.

 

I don't know what the spline count is, but I do know that it will not work. The 700r4 and pre Gen3 4l60e have the same input shaft. The newer 4l60e(99-up) has a larger end on the input shaft than the earlier style and the 700r4.

 

The spline count is 30 on a LS series and I believe the 700R4 is 28 spline.

 

yes, all the 60e's are 30 spline in our trucks
