NOS likes tighter converters so if you plan on spraying it don't get too crazy with it. Althought locking the clutch up can help with that. Screw it......4500 stall and a 5 disk clutch from Chris. Done.

I run a yank 3800 and 4.10 gears with my 224/224 cam. Mine is a daily driver...

With that cam I'd run a 4000, but I like a looser converter than most. You could get by with a 3400-ish but it'd leave a lot on the table IMO.

I have a 4000 and 4.10's and I get about 17-18 on the hwy. In town, maybe 12-13 on a good day.

I made 19 on the highway with my old 225/229, and my Yank 3600. If your on the highway a converter will not affect your mileage. But a gear can...

Was 19 with the 4.56's? Word on highway mileage, the converter is locked so it doesn't matter, but in town sucks. Hell, I did 21 mpg all interstate one time in 3rd gear with the converter locked running 70 mph (didn't have 2nd or 4th gear). That was a fun trip too taching 3 grand the whole time

No, sorry that was the 6.0 on the stock 3.73's. The 4.56's put my mileage down the tubes. But it sure improved my 60 ft....
