as of now i have what i thought was a 3:73 gear in my truck but it turned out to be a 2:73. w/ those gears,th350 tranny, stock TC, and a shift kit, i run low 15's high 14's. . If i was to change my tranny over to a 700R4 w/ a shift kit, and change my gears to a 3:73 or 4:10 posi-locker, w/ like a 2500-3000 stall TC......around how much would a shave off of my time and is this really worth it?

 

2.73? How did you determine that? Seems pretty tall for a truck. What are your 60' s?

 

i determined it from my dad........who put the gears in after he quit racing and gave me the truck
