I have a 2010 half ton silvarado. 5.3 I put 2" front and back to give back the factory rake. Texas addition LT.
6 speed trans with 3.08 gears I work outta my truck with 33\12.50\20s. I average 14 to 15 mpg. Im runnin about 80% city 20% hwy. I pull a 4000 lb trailer twice a week. Im not lookin for overkill just a good gear. I put a bullydog tuner, volant cold air intake and I also built my own muffler from stainless steal with 2.5 stainless exhaust. Im thinkin 3.90 gears because of things ive read on here on some older posts. I was wonderin about the outcome on the 3.90. Any input would be great. Plus I would like to do some engine upgrades in the future. Just not sure about what im gonna do.
