Otter you can't compare the two runs without proper traction. Get some slicks and then make some runs. My guess is you too much low end with the 4.10s causing you to spin more. Speed cost money.....how fast do you want to spend.

Stock limited slip. The vibration feels like it did when the driveshaft blew up before. Wow Art, glad to see you one here. Hows everything? I'm thinking a retune and traction. I just recived my MT radials but I am deffinitly gonna put some slapper bars on there.

interesting thread, considering i need to get new gears installed... I was thinking about going from 4.10s to 4.30s, but from what i am reading it may make no difference, except a hit to my mpg... hell from the results posted above a 3.73 to 4.10 swap only gained a 1/10th, I might go with 3.73s...

G80 is the factory Limited slip? Eaton makes that right? Mine says Eaton on it. I've benn beating the poop out of it since new and no problems. Even when I spray the truck it never had a problem. When I took it apart it was very clean in there. The magnet had very little trash on it. BTW as I was typing this my vette servo showed up at my door. I'll let you guys know if it makes any diffrence at the track this weekend.
