I don't know if you know this, but...

2007 front brakes bolt RIGHT ONTO a 2004ish truck (guess how I know this), as a complete package. Rotors, caliper brackets, calipers, pads. Costs the same as the older stuff, but is 1" larger rotors. Makes an UNBELIEVABLE difference to the stopping behavior. It's like having 50% more brakes AT LEAST.

Too late now I guess, but next time... buy 07 instead of 05.

I’m guessing this brake upgrade would limit you to never running smaller than a 18” wheel ever again though right? I’m currently on later model stock 18’s and there isn’t a whole lot of room for growth as it is. Not that I ever plan to go back to smaller than a 18” wheel personally, but for anyone else reading this.

Also got the front sway bar measured today and seems it is a 28mm version which hardly no one keeps a front set in stock for same day shipping in energy suspension brand. Checked their part# at several places including Summit Racing and everywhere said 2 weeks to ship, damnit, lol. If it was the bigger front bar I’d be in business tomorrow with parts.

Actually, no... I'm still running the stock 17s on my 04 Av.

I'm guessing it would be the new body. Not sure. But you can look at the rotor specs and verify. Old body would likely be the same parts as your current ones.

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ens-3-5215r/overview/ Looks like they're in stock? They can ship Monday.

Ignore that link: the forum is doing something weird to me.

Try this one instead. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/e...215r/overview/ Not sure how there's any difference in front vs rear.

Keep in mind also, you can use 27mm, or 1-1/16"; and no one will ever know the difference.

Wasn’t sure myself about the rear/front bushing for the bar being interchangeable either. The kit with part# 3.5222R was the one I was looking at and it comes with the links as well for $43. I’m just gonna do the bushings and links at the same time. And the more I read the more I’m thinking my next mod after shocks will be a rear sway bar for better handling. I daily drive my truck and it stays on the street 99% of the time. And i kinda drive it more like a car, lol. Also I’m thinking about removing the stock Z71 lift block and decranking the bars till it’s level, hopefully the cv angles will be almost flat then. I’m also looking at the Bilstein 4600 since it’s going down and not up. Hopefully I’ll get the shocks with tax money this year.

I have the 4600s on my truck; they were stock for that application; have worked well. Mine is coil springs of course though.

Rear sway bar will definitely change the feel of the vehicle. Will make it feel like it turns better, as opposed to "plowing" when you crank the wheel.

+1 to the 13in rotor upgrade. Made a noticable difference in my rcsb. I run 17in methods and it clears but 16s will not.
