wats up guys....one of my buddies has a single cab 07classic 5.3 chevy. Fully bolt on minus pulley his best time was a 14.0 with a 2.1 60ft...he recently installed a 3200 converter that brake stalls at 3600 at the track. Converter feels great, a little on the tight side but feels good since I've personally driven it. Yet, his best time has been a 14.0 with a 1.95 60ft with the converter. What could be wrong??

 

what gear ratio is he using?

 

he's running 3.73s and was using 26" slicks with no traction problems...could it be there is something wrong with the converter??

 

Weather conditions? What was the mph on both runs?

 

weather was maybe about 10-15degrees hotter on the converter run and I believe both runs were 97mph

 

the mph seems low. weather can play a big factor on that though.
