Want those 1.4x 60's, custom springs?

What was your reasoning for going with the C07 full radial over the lightweight C06 radial? I have seen where the fast Lightning guys prefer lightweight C06 radial.

I've read both ways, but your also notice a lot of them sub 10 trucks running a MT 30" Radial. Also a lot 500-600HP guys cutting 1.4x 60's. This is on a 50+ pound 30" full radial and i'd bet a harder rubber then the c07 slicks. This seems to be split down the middle, soft rubber w/radial walls, still light at 26 pounds.
Well see, I'm headed home tomorrow... Might be racing next weekend.

Sad Update.
Springs are a big no go. While installing them I thought maybe these things would Raise the truck by how long they were, so after installing one I decided to check ride height. Bam, boy was I wrong. Without me in the truck, it had to be a 4-5" drop AND I had a one inch chevy lean spacer in there. With me in it, it tucks up under. Only thing holding it at that point is the bump stop.
Called the shop back up and they said they would give me a full refund as this is their heavy spring. I since decided to install the v6 springs. I also found the 90/10 lakewood was a bad choice as it was cutting A-arm travel by at least 3", so I installed a OEM type shock to get full A-arm travel back.
Did get the rear end lowered with rear shackles in the top hole and the new hoosier meats mounted. Then more bad news. Check out my other thread on that though.

Thanks for trying the drag springs and sharing the results. How did the V6 springs work out? Can you tell any difference in ride height or front end lift on acceleration from the stock springs?
