I just got my vac modulated FLT in yesterday, and can say, I am completely happy with it. To hell with computers controlling everything

i had the vac modulator on my last built tranny. i liked it but that tranny never had o/d so the new tranny got built without it. i can tell no difference between the two.

Had my tranny built by Rock On transmissions and He highly suggested that I go with a vacuum modulator.

I dont want my PCM to control much of the tranny functions. Line pressure being one of the higher ups on that list. My friend has a built unit in his truck with PWM and mine is vac-mod. My shifts feel alot stronger and quicker both at light throttle and WOT. IMO PWM is a big factor in tranny fryage.
