Upgraded front sway bar bushings and end links
My 09 Crew 4x4 is lowered up front with McGaughy's spindles. Instead of replacing the front bar and hardware, I opted to just change the bushings and end links. I used energy suspension parts: 95167 and 98122 for a total of about $35 Canadian versus the $200+ the bar would have cost. I put the parts on yesterday and am very happy with the ride after only a few KM. The truck is a bit tighter and less sloppy. My next upgrade will be a Hellwig rear bar which has been ordered. I am expecting big things with the addition of the rear bar.
Since the parts were not specific to my truck, the end links needed to be compressed in order to thread the nut. Once I did that, the bushing brackets tightenend nicely. The end links are very short which is needed due to the drop. They could actually be a bit shorter to make them level with the frame but I didnt think it was worth the work to shorten them.
So as long as this stuff doesnt fall off the bottom of my truck, I will be pretty happy! And for the price, this was a no brainer.

in general the sway bar should be parallel to the frame. I had to use shorter end links to accomplish this. Not sure what the geometry was like stock but that isnt really my concern since the truck is lowered.

The part number above corresponds to the bushing for a 1 5/16" bar. Everyone on the interwebz says the bar is 36mm but that is not the measurement I got. The part number noted above is the best fit I could get as the next size up (1 3/8" according to Energy Suspension) would have been too big.
Not sure what the deal is regarding "known size" versus my measurement but this was a great upgrade. Truck handles better in the turns for sure.

I would still suggest you measure your bar before you purchase any parts in case there are differences in the models (reg vs crew, 2wd vs 4wd, etc). But the upgrade is worthwhile!
