Default TT3000 looser than expected??

Just installed my TT3000 last weekend and it seems looser than I expected it to be at part throttle inputs. This isn't the first performance converter that I have installed but it is the first Yank converter that I have used. Most of the other performance converters were almost unnoticable until the throttle is almost at WOT and then it would "flash" to the expected rated rpm. This converter even at part throttle inputs will go to near 3000rpms but at WOT it will go slightly over 3000rpm. What is everyone else's TT3000 feel like? This feels like a race converter that is loose all of the time like a drag car. Thanks.

Did you reset your PCM ?
it will take about 100 -150 miles to learn the new converter setup
recheck you trans fluid level also
you have a trt3000 with S/C so you will build boost sooner and you might be feeling the extra torque that will make the converter act bigger
But the trt300o and 2600 drive Quite well, as to other converters in that stall range!

Yank, I love my yank. Not to loose, not to tight. Just right! ITs my new best mod.I would rank it over the juice because its always there.

my tt3000 felt like that the first trip around the block. i was low on fluid. once i had it full i liked the way it drove.

it seems like 9/10 people feel the yank tt3000 drives nicer than expected and 1/10 feels it is loose. just goes to show you we all have diferent views of what is "loose"

The TT3000 I had in my Radix 5.3 would brake stall to 3200rpm,the boost seems to kick the stall up a little. You'll like the stall a little better after the PCM adjusts to it.

I adjusted the PCM for misfires because I was having false misfires as a result of the converter swap. What else should be adjusted besides shift points and such? The trans fluid level is perfect.
