Trying to decide on a gear ratio. Please help!

You got a smoking deal then. I was quoted 1200 just for the rear of mine, that's 4.10s and the Detroit locker. Also, that's the cheapest quote I've had in my area.

I'll have to find my invoice, but I wanna say I was close to that for front and rear.

I'll throw my 2 cents in. I've got a similar '02 Silverado. When I started aggravating my buddy to swap my factory 3.73's to 4.10's, he put me off until he ran across a set of factory 4.10 axles. I got a good deal out of them and with a little horse trading, I think I had maybe 50 bucks in the swap by the time I sold my old axles. After a built 4L60 and no torque management, the G80 exploded but even after new gears, Truetrac, and a MagHytec cover I'm still only about $1000 in.
