I don't tow. My truck is around 700 Ibs heaver than F-body. So, I think I will give it a try.

I will be ordering different TC for F-body 4L60E that is more suitable for a turbo setup.

So is every car TC's lock up clutch different than a truck's? PI for example. . .

It can be changed when restalling correct?

They should be able to put a beefier TCC in there when they split it open...maybe even a multi-disc

the extra weight of the truck is gonna cause that converter to flash higher so it will have a higher stall rating.....unless that converter was built for a high hp f-body.

Mine already has a multi-disc. . . How does that work? Do they have "medium" and "heavy duty" TCC for multi-disc?

I have no knowledge with converters.

Our clutches are the same, we have one version of our Stage I, II, and III converters per transmission. We don't build it different for a car vs. truck. I was just letting you know if you got a single disk design that a heavy truck or towing might eventually take its toll on the clutch. If you have a multi disk, you are more than covered.

Stall wise is another factor. Stall is based on input power, torque curve, gearing, tire size, weight..... So it can vary from a car to truck, heck it can vary from a car to a car.
