yep. he is a great guy. things happen and i don't blame him one bit. he said get it back to him and he'll make it right. it has the best parts i could get for it. i don't mind spending a little more to replace a few things if there is a question on whether they will hold up. but he said he is gonna replace the band and something else that he is sure got toasted.

only problem i have is my new converter has small metal particles in the oil. i have been trying to empty it and will probably have to send it back to get it cleaned. which is gonna cost at least 50 bucks shipping round trip.

Ranwalk-Your trans may be on the way out, but mine is all the way out!! I went to the track tonight in search of a 6 second 1/8th mile pass but instead got hauled home by a buddy with a Lightning. The mighty 4l80e has lost all forward gears. Reverse is still good, but since I hauled my bike to the track I couldnt exactly back all the way home with a trailer behind. LOL

So, I am down and out yet again. Guess I am going to have to fire my tranny builder and start using a professional.
