Im having shifting problems. I have a 04 Yukon Denali XL with a built stage 5 tranny. It used to be turbo and I have taken everything out and have gone back N/A. This tranny I never abused it. It is a daily driver and it is about year and half old. 8 months of it was on the rack getting the turbo fab.

Everything was running fine and last weekend the truck during 2nd going to 3rd feels like it slips. The rpm shoots up but truck still moves but slowly. When I let go the gas pedal it seems like it goes into next gear but but does the same thing. This happens at slow or fast speed. It didnt make at difference. I spoke to Vince at FLT and he told me to look at the solenoid on the HP Tuner to see if they are turn on correctly. For the life of me I cant find what he is talking about. One thing when I first received my FLT tranny the temp sensor never work. But this never effect the performance of the tranny. Any input would great be apprecaited.

Its sounds like as much as I hate to say that the 3-4 clutch may be failing possibly slipping under throttle but holding when not stressed. As for looking at the data there should be a place there that either shows you actual gear or the shift solenoids on. In third gear both solenoids should be off
