Hey guys, ive been working on an LSX swap into my 73 swb...ive got a 5.3 right now and was really liking the idea of doing a manual transmission...I know some of those REGENCY trucks came with a 5spd behind the 4.8...thats kinda what i want...I just cant seem to find any of those transmission laying around that people want to get rid of. I have come across alot of 5spd from the earlier 95-96ish style silverados...What all is needed to complete the swap with one of those? Anyone ever tried it? Or what other vehicles came with a manual that would fit on the 5.3?
