Default transgo separator plate-which gaskets

OK I have the PLT-96 sep plate for 96 to 04 it matches up to the new style gaskets for 2001 and up but I'm working on a 99 am I correct to assume the gaskets have to match the plate even though I have the older trans?

You'll be fine with the newer ones. Did you get the HD-2 kit also? If so, use those gaskets.
