Default Transfer case output shaft seal

Can't anyone tell me which output shaft seal I need? It's a 2004 4x4 with the auto 4x4 button.

My seal is leaking so bad it's spraying out the back of my truck, up my roll pan and onto my window. There's just a bunch of choices on rock auto and dunno which I need.

Call a random dealer with your vin and see if they can give you a number to go by. I just took mine out and went to dealer and matched it as the numbers didn't line up for some odd reason. The number it called for was about 1/2 to small.

Was it an easy job to take on? I've heard the seal doesn't always come out too easily.

The rear one is easy. The front one can be a pain.
