transfer case
i was woundering is there a way to eliminate the transfer caes ?? yes it is four wheel drive !! and if not can i remove the front drive shaft ? what im getting at is that i want to chang the rear gears to a 4.10 and not have to change the front differential ,thats why i asked if i can remove the front drive shaft ?? still want to keep it some what 4/wheel when i go to chang back to my off road set up in the winter !!

So you plan on changing rear gears every winter?
If yours is the standard 4wd case then yes, just take out the driveshaft to make sure you dont accidentally put it in 4wd. If yours is AWD, you cannot safely remove the driveshaft.
Why not regear the front? Its not terribly difficult. Maybe an hour to remove the front diff from the truck....cvs, solenoid, dshaft, 4 bolts, turn the wheels, and pull it out.
If yours is the standard 4wd case then yes, just take out the driveshaft to make sure you dont accidentally put it in 4wd. If yours is AWD, you cannot safely remove the driveshaft.

WHEN DOES IT END??? hey thanks guys !!YEAH IT SEEMS KIND OF RIDICULOUS!! if i take out the front drive shaft will the transfer case puke out fulid ?? dont want that on the track !! trying to get as much power to the rear as possible !! i think the yoke slips into the transfer case and not the axel !!????
