The transbrake thread
#11
He advised me to never use it on anything but a prepped track and with heated slicks. Never on street tires, and never with the vehicle's wheels off the ground for sure. And it won't work with the selector in anything but the D3 position. No engaging the transbrake to shift into reverse like some of the older setups either. The transmission operates like normal until you drop it in D3, push the button, and all hell breaks loose

I'm testing a new brake that is coming out.... it keeps the band on so spinning isn't an issue. Works in manual 1st only. Switchable ground. Stock depth pan too

seems like a good setup if it works right. I've since put the truck back stock. I dont even have the wires into the cab any more. The brake worked decent, just fought suspension the whole time and it didnt really improve my 60ft.

)Looking back thru the hptuners logs, the very first frame we command the solenoid off, it already shows 5 mph on the scanner, so it releases VERY fast.
Did you have the standard or pro model from Rossler? I've seen the standard model, and it didn't seem to release very fast (wouldn't be good on a pro tree).
