Maybe they aren't pulling enough air? What are your fan settings?

One fan is always on ans the other one comes on when the A/C turns on.

What? That's one of the reasons it shouldn't be getting hot.

Sorry I don't have any advice that hasn't been given already... But I saw this comment and had to say something about it. FWIW - my 60e has troubles staying over 100 with 25 degree temps going down the highway. So something in the transmission has to be causing this. Maybe a clutch not disengaging completely?

Seeing this comment irritates me, and you arent the only one who ive seen post this. The only instance when having the trans hooked up to the radiator cooler as well as the a huge cooler such as the trucool will help, and this is important, is if the trans temp is hotter than the engine radiator temp. The engine rad typically runs around 200 degrees which is far warmer than you want your trans temp. Heat is always conducted from hot to cold.

With that in mind, I would recommend still using the rad cooler if you live in very cold environment for prolonged periods, like the northern US states or Canada.

As far as the OPs problem, where is the cooler mounted? If there isnt airflow from the grille, even with a fan it is going to get pretty warm.

Here's how the coolers mounted.

Do the trans temps come down when you're driving on the highway(55+ mph)?

check for any crimps in the line, a slight clogged line will make temps jump very quickly.

Haven't really driven it very far because of this problem but it seems like the temps just keep increasing as I keep driving. But I have not driven it for longer then 30 minutes since the swap so IDK how high the temps would get if i drove it longer. The highest its went is around 200 and that was after a 30 minute drive taking it very easy. I checked both lines to c if they were flowing properly and they seem to be fine.
