AN trans fittings?
#1
i have a 95 4L80e and im plumbing the trans cooler lines to my tru-cool 40k. could i use -6 AN fittings on the trans case with rubber hose then fasten the other end of the hose on the cooler side with hose clamps? the cooler has barb fittings screwed into it. also is this the fitting i need? i have the older model so i dont need the extension.this is what i need? i dont want stainless hose so i opted for the socket-less fittings.

The the hose end fittings will work. But the AN fittings you have listed will not work - they will leak or break your case. You can get the correct fittings from Sweet Performance. Here is a link to the correct 6 AN fittings you need:

ok so this is where im confused though... when i screw the 90 degree -6an BARB fittings on to the sweet performance case fittings, what hose do i have to use? can i use standard transmission 3/8" hose with a hose clamp?

Hose clamps will cut the liner on the inside.. been there done that and got stranded on side of the road...
This is the stuff you need.
