Default Trans cooler

I have a 07 classic. It doesnt have a trans cooler but my buddies 05 does. How.would i go about installing one? I know i sound.like an idiot but this is my first auto trans i have ever had. I dont know a thing about auto trannys

Depends on what you need. If you're running a stall converter, I would get a 40k. Everyone has had great luck with them and most of the guys on here run them. Look up the 40k install thread on here and there are a bunch of pics and suggestions on how to mount/install the cooler

Ya im.going to run the 40k. I just dont have the lines in my truck. Like i said im new.to auto tranys

I used nylon braided -6an hose.

Oh yeah. I know the hose im going to use i just have no idea were to hook it up. I tried searching but the site.wont let me

They sell a factory add on kit. GM Part# 12497071. I used this on my truck since it didn't have have one either. The kit runs less then $100

You can buy an after market kit and install it as well. The TRU Cool 40K cooler is one of the most popular as it offers the most cooling capacity.
