with the truck listed is my sig,and stock tranny cooler, even driving the living **** outta it, this is hot as it gets...is it just me or is this pretty low for a stock cooler??

 

That looks about right. Mine is usually between 150 -180, but on a HOT day, sitting in traffic, you will see it creep to 200

 

With my cooler I am usuallly below 150* but on a 100* day it will creep up to 175*

sheeeeeeeeit! that's a great temp to have. given your locale, that's probably close to what you'll see. come on over to hot & humid Louisiana! even on a cool day, those temp's will be up to 180.

i wouldn't worry about that unless it creeps past 200.

 

i have a tru-cool but mine never gets over 150* even on hot days

 

i sat idling on a 98* day for 30 mins the other day and it barely got to 175, so am i okay the way it is, or should i still put in my trucool 40k?

 

Mods in my sig + truecool 40K + 90-100 degree days = cooler than that. I say install the cooler if you plan on putting any serious mods/converter in later.

 

future mods are TB stall ,servo, shift kit, and after that an 80e

 

I'd do the cooler then.
