had to drive through some big dirt road puddles today. afterwords truck seems as if stuck in second or third???? its been slipping a little on the 2-3 shift recently. dont know if its finally gone out or if the water could have something to do w/ it? any input would help. thanks Mark

 

any codes set? sounds like it is defaulting into 3rd gear

 

Would check the main connector.

 

Yea, it might be in limp mode, it's quite possible that water got into an electrical connector or something. Scan the PCM for codes first...
