tranny problem ?

Question tranny problem ?

i have 2004 silverado 4x4 4l65e tranny . when i put truck in gear it takes about 5 to 10 seconds before it go's into gear ? whats up with that ?
and some times at a stop, it seems to go into netrual for a split second when i hit the gas ? any thoughts !

I would double check to make sure that the trans is full of oil. There are many other things internally that can cause this however it usually requires that the trans be replaced or rebuilt.

Sounds like its either low on fluid, or you have a cut or damged seal on the forward piston, or a cracked forward accumulator piston.
