Default Tranny lines

Anyone block off the transmission lines to the radiator and run them straight to a cooler and back. Is there any benefit to doing this or is it better to run it through the radiator also.

Its been debated back and forth. Mine is currently ran thru the factory cooler, and then an aftermarket external. Some like it to help warm up the fluid faster, when u utilize the radiator.

I cant say I have an tranny fluid temp problems

The purpose of running it through both is that water will pull more heat out than air will, thats why your fluid goes to the radiator first (Transfluid/water) then goes to aux cooler to remove some more heat (Transfluid/Air), if anything delete the aux cooler (Transfluid/Air)......This is coming from my 30 yr experienced trans guy
