it depends how much power you are going to try to push through that tranny. different people will tell you different things, some people had their tranny go at 20k miles on a bone stock truck, mine went over 142K with servos only and you know my mods, most of which were done around 120K.

you asked about servos and shift kit, i sent you the list of stuff i would get if i was only going to do servos and shift kit.....

Why buy the 1-2 accumulator spring kit when the transgo HD-2 kit comes with them? Your also replacing the 1-2 accumulator piston because it is plastic, you should also replace the forward piston, it is plastic also, and will break just as easy as the 1-2. And a large cooler would be a good investment also.

And on the Hd-2 kit, make sure you specify that you have an 05' model and get the latest kit. If not you will get the older style boost valve that will not fit in your trans.
