Default Tranny experts please

About two weeks ago I stopped on a dead two lane road late at night and stalled it up and took off and right away knew something wasn't right. It was slipping. So iv just been taking it easy around two for the past couple weeks. Well the other night I did the same thing on the same road and it left hard but when it hit second you couldn't even feel it shift but it didn't feel like it was slipping. The only way you knew when it shifted was when the rpms would drop (which dropped to around 34-3500). they have never dropped that low between shifts. And it did the same thing going in 3rd. I have and HD2 kit and servo so im use to a positive firm shift at WOT. I know everyones gonna tell me the tranny is screwed but any idea what might be broke or causing this.

clutches burnt, and band burnt prolly. you have a lot of weight and power behind and unbuilt 4l65. clutch material will block off valvebody passeges, and make the shift pressure drop off. pull the pan and look for trash. Oh, and better start saving for a built one.

Thanks, Im not even gonna bother pulling the pan. What you said makes perfect sense. Just hope it last long enough for me to save for a performabuilt. It doesn't seem to be too bad when I just take it easy. Il just keep my fingers crossed.
