anyone use lakewood traction bars on a truck before ? do they help with traction ? or are they more for looks ?

Cal trac bars seems to work the best.. Or bars that guys have made that resemble the CT bars.. Bottom line, nothing will help ALOT on a street tire if your making big power, just helps wheel hop

I think op is asking cause cals are a bit pricey compared to lakewoods. Someone on here was selling some bout 2 months back and stated they had helped. What eliminated my wheel hop was welding the shock extensions as per my mechanic. Truck now just spins while moving......slicks would solve that but i dont drag race, just like the power trip lakewoods got to help some at but like mangled03 stated on street tires not really much.

check out urdone's post on lakewood shocks. it mentions use of lakewood traction bars.
