Default Traction Bars

I have this set of traction bars id really like to get on my truck. If i had the proper tools i may be able to get them on but i dont so i have started looking around for someone to put them on. I made the rear mounts real quick at my old job that had a shop and they would sit on that flat spot just inside the lift blocks.

I stopped by a local "Custom Suspension" place figuring they could slap these things on. Well the guy really didnt wanna give me the time of day and basically said im stupid because the rear brackets would not stop the wrap. The mounts had to be below the axle. Now im taking his word because he is the suspension specialist. I will be looking into some other fab shops around town to see what they say. Should i dicth these bars? Or get a different set of rear brackets fabbed up? I really want these things on and dont really know where to go from here..Thanks

Edit: The guy said 500 to put on what i have..Thats just ludacris to me...I mean im willing to pay..even a couple hundred..but dam..
