I think they would... but since you've got the front tires pulling the truck too, your launches are a little bit different than a 2wd squat and launch, b/c you still need some weight on the front tires as well.

I have the standard caltracs for a stock ride height truck that I ordered from calvert racing. I cant remember exactly what I paid for them It was somewhere around $350, it was the price they had advertised on there web site.

Actually having seen Parish's launches i would be inclined to say he still sufferes from a great deal or weight transfer and the trac bars in principle should still work.

I would be willing to bet money that they would help you hook. They keep the truck much more stable and smoother during takeoff. I just got done helping a friend install them on his blown dakota R/T and they made a huge difference. I know that his is a 2wd, and you are 4, but you are at the power level that every bit of suspension you can do is going to make a huge difference. Also, the syclone and typhoon guys swear by them, and seems that it would be the same principle with your truck. You might want to visit syty.net and see what the amount of difference is that they are claiming on their awd trucks.

Parish, in your vids i see that your truck does weight transfer to the rear pretty good. I think that if you installed the caltracs and preloaded the crap outta them, that it wont allow the rear squat as much, thus stabalizing your launch equally on all 4 tires.

there is some good info for me over at syty, going to have to really study up on the subject. so far this is what i am reading.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The caltracs keep the front of the springs from bending upward (axle wrap) which will keep the tire planted better. It also stiffens up the rear so it wont squat as much. Since the rear spring is not bending it will also keep your pinion angle correct. It wont cause the front to lift because you have the front end tied down. Look at my video and see if you see any lift or squat.

"front end tied down" that is my next search subject. i am guesing it is cableing or bump stoping the front to keep it from lifting so much. i have been meaning to try something like this for awhile. keep the steering and cv joints all nice and flat. keep the front tires alighned properly.
