I'm actually really interested in hearing what other people are doing too. I know a lot of people keep their setups kinda but since I've done gears, tranny, stall, cam and a host of other **** I'd like to know how some of you are managing those low 60ft times.

I tried slicks and without traction bars my launch was drastically improved (obviously), but as far as keeping it to the ground, what setups do you swear by? I'm just kinda curious to hear others methods.

On my other truck I had Hotchkis TVS with Hotchkis valved Bilstiens, Metco LTLs, and a pan-hard bar. That was a great set up, really handled like you were on rails.

 

I didn't know that they made adjustable ranchos, for lowered trucks

I had a lifted 2wd with the same ones, they're pretty cool/fun to play with

 

this will be set up for 1/4 mi track racing.

nope. they are made for stock height.

 

but you stated in the first post that you have a 2/4... ...just curious...
