Tow package

What does the tow button do on the 01 2500? I assume it unlocks the converter?

nope it ups the shifts and boost the pressure. the converter unlocks when it down shifts

Ok, so is it ok to tow in OD with this then? My half tons usually get down shifted to 3rd and stay there so the converter doesnt lock and unlock burning it up.

if you tow in drive with tow haul it will never get in to 4th lock up u have no worries
