Default Time2Kill 4l80 to NVG149 input gear question

Seeing how Time2kill is non existent anymore, Can someone answer the following question for me.

What exactly was time2kill doing to adapt the 2? He requested the stock nvg149 output shaft/gear assembly be sent to him which he modified.

I do see there is a member trying to get Mark Williams to do a custom billet shaft, but I believe this is similar to what DK performance(Not sure if correct company name) did and they broke like twigs.

Edit: Now what I see its going on is that the coupling essentially is what is being modified... internal splines are needed to get cut. Answered my own question. haha. Now to get one made.
