Default Time to upgrade converter. Opinions needed

After a bit of reading, I'm getting rid of my tt3000. Nothing at all wrong with it. I'm still running it around town just haven't put a set of slicks or went to the track yet. I think I need to move on to a more "performance" type converter. I've read people near my power range destroying the tt3000 and taking the trans with it. I'm leaning towards another vig. maybe 3600.... Any other suggestions?

the vig 3200 is their most popular converter. From what I've read (and there's a lot of feedback) is equivalent to a yank 3600 stall. That's the one I'm considering myself.

Actually I did e-mail Chris(?) and he suggested a stage 1 2C 3200-3400. Said it would drive similar to a vig 2800 but flash higher. Also would have about 5% slip on top side. I just don't know much about circle D or how long they've been around. Been hearing nothing but good things about them though.

Spoke to Jack at PI via e-mail and the vig 3600 would actually flash to about 3800 in my truck. Also said I may not like how much the engine would rev to get the truck moving during acceleration. I'm wondering how much it would rev to get going??... Help

You might give EDGE racing converters a call. I got one from them waiting to go in my truck along with the 80e. They don't build "box" units, they talk to you get your info about your truck and how you want it to drive and stall and then build a converter for YOUR truck. Andre is the man there. Haven't got the converter in yet, but so far VERY happy with the customer service. Spent 20 minutes on the phone with me disusing how I wanted my truck to drive, then built my convert to suite. They have been in the converter biz for 13 years.
