how much loss are we talking? Im not sure how much I going to keep putting into right now. Reliability is worth more to me now then it used to be. I know its still quick enough for the majority of the people around here. Plus there isnt even a track close to here. Closest is an 1/8th mile blacktop... prob worth than coastal plains in Jacksonville, NC. Silver-mod-o knows that place. So I think for now I will just be studying the stickies for the swap and the thread over on ls1truck... Then call Vince or Chuck....

A built to the gills 4L65E is 3 times what i paid for the 80E..but with a turbo it likes the load and actually feels like it pulls harder with the 80E than the 65E i had.
Stock- few mods, a slighty mild built 60E should do.
But once you go 80E you wont go back.

I think im goin with the 80e... still not done with the truck by a long shot, my buddy has a 242/242 .6??/.6?? 112lsa that I am lookin to trade for my little cam. He doesnt want to go big on his car just a little more than his stock and he has that one. I already have the springs and everything so we might just trade em up... that should make up the loss right?

Man, I need to run on a better track... My trap is 104 but my times are 14.2... not just driver mod, I have had several other people run it that run good times and none of us could catch in NC... 60' times of 1.8...
