k, im bumping this thread again instead of making a new one...
i am thinking about changing out the tie rods to hiem joints. I have a p/s rack on my silverado so ill be a custom clevis to thread into the rack and the also make the adjusting sleeve then utilize lh/rh hiem joints. anyone attempted and succeeded with somthin like this? I know the fab shop i worked for ago made a kit for the 4x4's and even offered an upgraded uni-ball style idler/pitman, just need to see if the thread pitch is the same on the inner tie rod for the clevis to thread in...
thoughts?

Default Heim Joint Kit

I stay here in the Houston, Tx area and Ektensive has Heim joint kit just for this they go for $100 bucks and its all bolt on ... the only thing you have to do is drill the tapered hole on the knuckle of the spindle into a bigger size ... I been meaning to buy the kit cause my angle is really bad

I bought a set like the link from Tukn4's on CustomGM with the adapters so I didn't have to drill out the spindle for like $90 shipped a few months ago. I haven't installed them yet!
