And if that's not enough roll the fenders, I have mine widened by 2" and you can't even tell. So much easier than tub'ing it. (although I also have my bed mini-tubbed too)
Are both of you running the standard length shocks for our trucks or did you order something custom? I've read that some people use the stock length bilstein setup but that its not very effective because they are too long once the truck is lowered.

I want to lower my truck ASAP with purple keys and a shackle kit but I am worried about the ride quality. Especially on stock shocks so I want to try to find a good option before I do anything.

I hated my SP's, I hated them on my stock truck and once again on my 2/4, rode like dick. Way too stiff.

On my 4/6 lowered 96 I rand Belltech Nitro Drops, felt they had a good ride to them, and never had any major rub issues.

You've seen my truck, I run KYB Monomax up front and I never Bottom out or hit my tires. I run Nissan frontier shocks in the back because the kyb were too stiff

hmmm, I have the frontiers too, I feel they are too soft, I've bottomed out with them, when I never did with my belltechs.

I'll look into the KYB, what part number? Aren't you 4x4?

I don't want Oregon Trail wagon stiff, there is a happy medium...like I said, I had them on my stock truck-stiff, had them on 2/4-stiff, had them with the 2/5 and 2/6 (6" was pushing it on those shocks). These shocks ride a bit better, but over more extreme areas I bottom out. So I have not found that happy spot. Too stiff, too soft.

I've road in trucks the same height as mine that rode better. It's that, or I have some sort of freak of nature truck that just wants to ride like **** no matter what...
