To Those Who Notched Your NNBS...
Did you do it yourself or have it done for you?
I was looking around at different set-ups. Seems like most people agree 7" in the rear is as low as you can go without notching the frame. I haven't decided which drop I want yet, but I can say it will be at LEAST a 5/7. Either 20's or 22's for the wheels and I will NOT be towing/hauling anything.
-So if you had your notch professionally done how much did it cost?
-Or if you know a rough estimate/ballpark figure on installation price let me know. I know every place differs, Im just trying to play with some numbers. Thanks

I could barely tolerate no notch at 7". At 9" with no notch I'd want to drive it off a cliff. I would guess to say you Smack frame on any bump. If you say no youre full of it.

damn a 9" on my truck would put the axle inside the frame. without a notch on my 7" drop, mind you im a long bed, i only had 1-1.5" of travel. i notched it about 2" myself welded in with 1/4" plate it was a must do for me i couldnt drive anywhere without bashing it over and over again.
