Ah yes, I remember those high school parking lot burnouts. It was fun watching people melt their tires in the school parking lot. You really had to watch out for teachers and parents, especially if they are not car enthusiasts. I knew alot of people who got in trouble later on because of a narc/teacher writing down license plates. Are your parents still going to make you take the performance stuff off your truck when you are 18? Legally, you are an adult at 18 and you can make decisions on your own!!

Cam and valve-train is still in, taking that out next week or two. Gotta fix my trans first. But it sounds mean as hell to say the least

That 18 rule doesn't mean crap in my household. I say that and my dad shows me the door. Yep, it's all coming off. Nothing like working your *** off plumbing in the summer to have it all taken off and lose money..
Oh well, life goes on.

I read this post last night and thought, OK, remember to put in the dipstick tube....Well, guess what I did this morning? I installed my fresh tranny and had all the bolts in when I realized I forgot the dipstick tube. ARRRGGGGHH

Luckily I was able to snake it in witout pulling the tranny back down. So all in all mine didnt go too bad.
