I personally don't like cross-drilled rotors, especially if they're only stock replacement size. They're prone to cracking between the holes, and have less friction surface area. The surface area debate can be used for stock size slotted rotors also, but supposedly the slots help gasses from the pads to escape, as well as reduce a slight amount of weight (which is an advantage of drilled rotors also). I have been running Praise Dyno cryogenically treated slotted rotors and pads for 6ish years now and have been very happy with them, but they're pricey. I've heard good things about PowerSlot rotors for a relatively inexpensive stock replacement.
