Is there such thing as a 1inch drop shackle?

Or you could just use a 1 inch drop shackle and leave the lift blocks in would be the same thing.

I look into the daystars then cause I have heard people bitching about thier shackles squeeking.

I didn't think about that. Works if you want to go lower later too!

Mine sqeeked even with the zerk fittings well lubed but after a little investigation I found out it was because I tightened them to tight. I loosened them 1/8-1/4 turn each and the sqeeking went away.

i have belltech on my truck right now. only thing ive ever had and never any squeaks after 4 years.

Oh yeah never thought of that, duh. Anybody know if lift blocks hurt performance? Never really liked the idea of them. They kinda seem like a band-aid.......like "oops we didn't design the suspension right so we'll stick these in here"

NOt really untill you get up in the 4-6 inch range when you start having BAD axle wrap problems with any decent amount of power. Then you need ladder/ traciton bars. The 1.5 inch stockers arent that big a deal. I know what oyu mean about the bandaid but they also make the truck ride better since there isnt a need to arch the springs more for the lift.

hey, Cody I think you can get the shackles in a place down Spencer Hwy.. for $45.. pm me if you want... they do too have the 2 holes for 1" or 2"... and they have that grease fitting too... mine have not squeeked and I havent even greased them yet!!!?/???
