I see you're from georgia...did they quit teaching english recently?
Or is it not your first language? If so, I'll let it pass.

The TH400 is very rare to be found with a speedometer. some 80's models had electronic speedometers but the sensor is discontinued and no aftermarket makes them...so you're stuck finding a good used unit.

If you have a cable drive speedometer like 99% of TH400's you'll need to buy an adapter that converter the cable to a digital signal

or if you have a vehicle with front or rear speed sensors on the wheels/hubs you can use that signal as your speed input

Yeah like he was saying you have to find this different VSS sensor I believe that goes in the back of the tranny. I don't know exactly how it works though.
Are you saying that you switched from an 80e to a TH400? Is this in your 06? There was a guy on SilveradoSierra that actually did this not too long ago. I may be able to ask him what he did and post it here. I'd check it out and see because I don't remember him having any issue with the speedometer but he may have and just not posted it.

Also no offense but hearing ain't reading/writing. I don't think he was trying to an *** just genuine question/pokin fun at Georgia.

Was not trying to insult
But it's tough to understand some of what you're writing.

the th400 reluctor ring should be a 40 tooth wheel just like 60 and 80
Just wire the sensor to the ECU the same way you would wire a 60e speed sensor...or the rear speed sensor on your 80e
It's just a simple 2 wire plug
