Default TC lock up is on the fritz

Need some help i was leaveing the store the other day and my torque converter would not lock up. It normaly will lock up at 40-45 mph under light to moderate throttle . trans temp was 130*i would shift from 3rd to D and still no lock then i few miles down the road it starts to work great, nice and snappy like it always has . then yesterday on the way back from the dunes its starts doing it again on the free way 55-70mph i stompped on the throttle a few times and didn't really change anything then it would start working again wierd !!! i checked the trans oil its really clean its only got 2500-3500 miles on the converter circle d . I installed new filter and 7 quard pan when i did the converter. any ideas on what it could be ? is there a lock up selenoid that could be going bad ???

Are you sure it wasn't 4th gear slipping? The description you gave is typical of it. Get a scan tool on there so you can command the converter locked, see the shifts, and see what's really wrong.

OTC Genesys, HPTuners, EFI Live, Tech 2, Snap On, almost all of the ones made for professional use.

A "code reader" will not do what a real scan tool can do.

no its not 4th sliping cause in my tune my tc will lock when i have it in 3rd as long as i am above 40-45 mph with light throttle . it shifts nice in the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts it just never locks and i can feel my loose rpms cause of the stall . but its not like it stopped working cause sometimes it does and sometimes it dont ?

In your sig it says "B&M" shift improver. Is this a skift kit or an inline programmer? Also how many miles are on this trans?

I would suggest removing this box to see if it makes a difference. Its possible that this part is manipulating the pwm circuit for lockup and is breaking the connection to the solenoids.
