Did you use any additive in the rear oil or not? I didn't and all is fine,...just mobil 1 synthetic. I hear different opinions.
I probably will convert to the stud kit, seems to be a bit better than the bolts.

I did use the additive in mine, but only standard gear oil was used.

here's a pic of mine, different manufacturer with stud kit and ARP bolts, I think these covers really help the rear live under high HP.

I have been lazy to order mine for my 14 bolt. I had one for my 10 bolt but sold it when I got my 14 bolt rear.

Looks good, I have the same one myself...it came with a note in reference to what size bolts were needed to install it. I ended up hitting 2 Home Depots and 1 Lowes to get 9 of 10 of the bolts, then used a six point for the bolt that secures the brake cable (ran out of local places to find the 10th bolt and wanted to get it done lol). Just a little info about what I experienced: mine started leaking past the threads of the pre-load bolts, so I backed them out and put some teflon around the threads and re-torqued them. Shortly after, the gasket (which was supplied with the cover) blew out on both sides where there are holes in the rear end housing to supply gear oil to the carrier bearings. I replaced the gasket with a factory one, and it has been fine ever since. (I checked the vent for the rear diff to make sure it wasn't clogged and it was OK). If you look at the TA gasket vs. the factory gasket, the TA gasket has 2 small slits to accomodate the supply of gear oil to the carrier bearings, while the factory one just goes around those holes so they're completely exposed...this may have something to do with why mine blew. Not sure if anyone else had the same experience. Here's a pic of mine shortly after I installed it (those tail pipes have since been removed, shocks changed to Bilsteins, and truck has been lowered).

p.s.- I didn't do the stud kit, but will eventually if and when my G80 goes kaboom and I go for an Eaton, or other brand posi unit
